In a unanimous decision by the Lindenwood University Board of Trustees, the University will update its founding year to 1832. After a review process that took more than a year, ample primary evidence, including writings from both Mary and George Sibley, demonstrated the historical accuracy of the school’s establishment in 1832.

On Wednesday, February 8, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Bethany Alden-Rivers announced the selection of Dr. Jennifer Mack to serve as the Dean of the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Mack was selected after a comprehensive national search and brings outstanding leadership and dedication to the role.

Dr. Gökhan Eğilmez incorporated a service-learning project in his business analytics undergraduate course last semester that offered students a glimpse into solving real-life situations.

Isabella Castro received an honor of a lifetime. On January 10 , the Lindenwood University senior marketing major was one of 50 students across the nation to be named to the 2023 Most Promising Multicultural Students at the American Advertising Federation’s conference in Washington, D.C.

Lindenwood University has received a new accolade in recognition of its affordable programming in relation to its peers. The award comes from Colleges of Distinction, a resource whose cohort of schools is selected based on the quality and breadth of hands-on experiences in lieu of the popular rankings model.

Lindenwood University and St. Louis Community College have signed an agreement as part of a cooperative partnership to support the higher education of students in the greater St. Louis area.
