Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., has named veteran lawyer Mark Falkowski as its general counsel. He will begin work at the university on May 4, 2020.

Lindenwood University graduate Kaitlyn Centini (BA, ’19 – religion, history, art history) and Dr. W. Travis McMaken, associate professor of religion, have published a book review in the April issue of the journal Interpretation. This peer-reviewed journal provides resources to pastors, theologians, and other scholars of Christianity and is published quarterly out of Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. Anna Reynolds, a senior double major in history and political science at Lindenwood University, recently had a paper selected for the SIUE Symposium on Women and Gender, which was to be held March 21 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lindenwood University’s online Master of Public Administration was recently ranked seventh in the country by Intelligent.com, which included the supplemental and designation of “Best in the South.”

Dr. Melissa Ridley Elmes, assistant professor of English at Lindenwood University, published her first poetry collection, Arthurian Things: A Collection of Poems, in January 2020. This book was the winning manuscript in the World of Myth open contract challenge.

Lindenwood University’s Department of Paramedicine and School of Health Sciences has donated hundreds of masks, gloves, and scrubs to SSM Health to help address shortages in personal protective equipment faced by area healthcare providers.
