MBA in Management Ranked Nationally by OnlineCollegePlan

Lindenwood University’s MBA in management was one of 30 programs ranked the best in the country by OnlineCollegePlan. Lindenwood was one of two schools in the St. Louis area and three in Missouri to be ranked on the list. The ranking was based on cost per credit hour, reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, retention rate, and graduation rate.

Late Field Goal Extends Magical Season

Playing in the first Division II playoff football game in school history, Lindenwood improved to 9-3 by winning its eighth straight game. The Lions will play in the second round next Saturday against a familiar foe, No. 10 Northwest Missouri State (11-1), in Maryville, Mo.

Alumni Dedicate Piers Stewart Lounge in McCluer Hall
College of Arts and Humanities

Chase and Kayla Piers Stewart visited the Lindenwood University campus Nov. 15, 2019, to take part in a dedication ceremony for the recently named Piers Stewart Lounge in McCluer Hall. The couple, who hold humanities degrees from Lindenwood, selected the lounge to honor the School of Humanities.

Ferrario will Do Play-by-Play for Saturday Blues Game

Two-time Lindenwood graduate Alex Ferrario (’13, ’15) will handle play-by-play for the St. Louis Blues game at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, on 101 ESPN radio. Ferrario normally hosts the pre-game, post-game, and intermission shows and will fill in for Chris Kerber, who will be receiving an award that night.

Education Dean Scheffler Wins Award of Excellence for Artwork

Dr. Anthony Scheffler, dean of the School of Education, was recently recognized in Art St. Louis XXXV, The Exhibition, where his work won the Award of Excellence at the opening reception on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Applications Open for New Sibley Scholarship

Lindenwood University is accepting applications for a new scholarship, the Sibley Scholarship, for high-achieving students, worth up to full tuition, room, and board.

Annual Winterfest Community Event to be Held Dec. 8

Lindenwood University will hold its annual Winterfest event for the community from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, on the Heritage side of the university’s St. Charles campus.

Shelley Looney Featured in NBC Sports Program

Shelly Looney, Lindenwood University women’s hockey head coach, was recently featured on an NBC sports program called “The Champion Within.” Looney scored the winning goal for the U.S. women’s hockey team in the 1998 Olympics and took over head coaching duties at Lindenwood this season.
